Anti-aging is a specialized subset of medical care focused on extended lifespans, healthy living, and youthful characteristics. Under this approach to care, many patients experience extended health and vitality. And as part of their rejuvenated life, people may want to further enhance their youthful appearance and the health of their skin with particular cosmetic procedures. For those with concerns regarding the more conspicuous indications of aging, there are solutions available that will address your physical concerns - and boost your self-confidence and mental health, too.
Botox, a well known cosmetic tool, can be used to treat wrinkles. Following an injection into a contracted muscle, our faces can relax and soften, creating a smoother look. These injections are most often used on forehead lines, crow's feet (lines around the eye) and frown lines - the most common problem areas associated with aging skin. By investing in fillers for the face, people can see physical changes and even see an increase in their mood and confidence. It's because of these benefits that we proudly offer Botox injections.

Botox is an injectable substance made from a Botulinum toxin, which is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. You may recognize the toxin’s name because of its association with food poisoning. However, in the limits amounts found in Botox injections, the neurotoxin is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by paralyzing the underlying muscles.
Botox is used to treat wrinkles and deep lines of the face. When injected, it blocks signals from specific facial nerves to particular muscles. The injected muscle can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. It is most often used on forehead lines, crow's feet (lines around the eye) and frown lines.
Additionally, research is now finding that Botox may also make the skin of the injected site more elastic, further supporting good health and young looks.
The effects from Botox will typically last three to six months. As muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again.
Botox injections actually relax the muscle under a wrinkle, helping to eliminate the creasing caused by the muscle. Fillers, however, will literally fill a line, crease, or facial area with one of several different substances.
The national average cost for Botox treatments is $550, but they can range from $25 to $1,150 depending on what you want to get done. To determine the exact cost for your potential treatment, please contact us.
